What Goes in My Suitcase During a Gulet Holiday
What goes in my suitcase – Most of us tend to pack much more than we need when we go on holiday. On a plane, it looks like some people crammed their whole house in the baggage compartment. Traveling is freedom, so bringing less makes sense and gives us less stress!
When you go on a Croatia gulet holiday, you can leave your tuxedo and flashy dress back home. That is one of the best things about a sailing holiday, whether you are on gulet, bareboat or motor yacht, that doesn’t really matter the principle is the same. You travel with minimum luggage and that is something we all want isn’t it? Every time when you go on holiday to a resort or hotel you have the same problem; tons of clothes and shoes and half of the luggage you packed you don’t wear. Sounds familiar, isn’t it? Sailing the Mediterranean or Adriatic means freedom and freedom means that you can do and wear whatever you want.
First of all don’t pack any shoes, because on a gulet, sailing boat or yacht you are not allowed to walk around on shoes. So that makes things easy, just make sure that you pack your flipflops that will be sufficient. In addition to this, most of the time you will walk around in your beachwear and especially in Croatia there are a lot of nudist beaches, so in some cases, if you like, you don’t even need beachwear as well. Back to business; Don’t forget sunscreen, while you lay on the deck, a breeze around your head and you get that beautiful tan that you have been waiting for, but without any sunscreen, you will get a sunburn.
Bring some sunglasses on your private charter holiday, because the sun can get very bright, especially when you are on the sea. The shimmering of the sea can be very bright, so for that, you need a couple of sunglasses. Pack your favorite pair of shorts and a couple of shirts and also a toilet bag with necessary articles. In conclusion, this is all that you need when you go on a yacht holiday, of course, you could bring a pair of fancy garments for the moments that you dive in the nightlife of some fancy port town, but that’s all. Last but not least, bring a couple of your favorite books on your private gulet holiday in Croatia. Nothing more therapeutic than sitting on the deck, a glass of wine in your hand and a good book. Bon voyage!
